Community Seva Inc., celebrated its 10th Anniversary Tree of Life gala on October 7, 2023 at the India Community Center in Milpitas. Over 440 attendees graced the occasion, and the organization raised a staggering amount of just over $410,000 via sponsorships, table purchases, pledges, and donations at the event.
A trio band formed in the year 2019, Iyerwaltz focuses on bringing in enjoyable, highly quality customizable music to your special events. Iyerwaltz also prides in showcasing new talents around the Bay Area. So you might never run into the same musicians ever again, but their USP of wholesome music with a big dose of originality and fun are constant mainstays. Iyerwaltz is proud to have given back to our communities by fundraising close to $80K in 2021/2022, in the middle of the pandemic!
Bldg18 comedy Club is the First Tanglish Comedy Club in America and have performed for corporations like Google, Amazon, Meta & Cisco apart from doing 20+ shows in Bay Area, LA, Dallas, Seattle, Houston etc. Bldg18 conducts free open mics every friday for people to try out their content and have completed over 190 open mics so far catering to more than 1500 people. Bldg18 also has over 60k+ YouTube subscribers with more than 2+ million views on our channel and 20+ million impressions.

Robert Egger is lifelong “power of food” champion, and the originator of the Community Kitchen movement. He founded the DC Central Kitchen, the Campus Kitchen Project, and the L.A. Kitchen, and is a Founding Board Member of The World Central Kitchen with Jose Andres, Collectively, these organizations have produced over 150 million meals and helped thousands of individuals attain
foodservice jobs. He was also the founding Chair of the Washington, DC Mayor’s Commission on Nutrition, and Street Sense (Washington’s homeless newspaper).
On the national stage, Robert was the Co-Convener of the first Nonprofit Congress and the Founder of CFoward, which advocated for the recognition of the economic role that nonprofits play in every community. A constant innovator, open-source advocate and thought leader, he wrote, “Begging for Change”, which won the Alliance for Nonprofit Management’s McAdams Prize in 2004 for its advancement of the nonprofit sector. Robert is an international speaker, who has received dozens of awards over the years for his ideas and work, including being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Washington Restaurant Association, being named a Point of Light by President H.W. Bush, an Oprah Angel, and the James Beard Foundation’s Humanitarian of the Year. He was also the only direct service provider to appear on the Nonprofit Times list of the Most Powerful & Influential Nonprofit Leaders from 2006-2009. And finally, Robert is a 15-gallon blood donor with the American Red Cross.
Meera Iyer enjoys music, cooking, workouts & a clean sink! This avid realtor by day, is a classically trained recording artist, actor and founder of the party band “The Iyerwaltz”.

— being recognized by A.R.Rahman for her cover single of Nenjukullae from the movie Kadal (2013)
— her original from “Naseman” being selected for the Cambodian International Film Festival (2014)
— debuting as a playback singer in the Telugu film “Aavu Puli Madhyaalo Prabhaas Pelli” (2016) &
— playing the lead actor role in the short film, “Vibatthu” (2017).
— Her first Hindi single, for the movie “Anya”, was awarded the “the best motion picture” at the Albysvyn Film Festival, Sweden.
She has just about finished a project along with Lydian Nadhaswaram and a few Telugu movie projects which are awaiting releases!
