Community Seva is opening up a new opportunity for professionals in the Silicon Valley to participate in a team building activity outside their work premises that will allow them to give back to the community. Corporate teams can cook hot lunch to distribute to unhoused individuals who are living in encampments, safe parking lots and in the community-at-large.
When?: Every Friday
Time: 9:00 am to 12 noon
Location: Santa Clara (near Homestead and Monroe). Address will be provided upon signing up for the event
No. of volunteers : Minimum 6, maximum 8
Activity: You will be participating in various activities such as cutting vegetables, cooking and packing.
Donation amount : minimum $500 per event. Additional donations are welcome for supporting our cause.

The donation can be made either by a company sponsorship or alternatively, employees can pool-in funds and donate the amount, later submitting the amount for employer matching. We encourage employees to submit their volunteer hours as well.
