THANK YOU FOR GRANTS FROM

Seva has partnered with FESCO since May of 2016 and provided monthly meal service to over 50 people at our transitional house, Banyan and shelter, Les Marquis. We are so thankful that they found us! Nathan and Vincent have been so wonderful, coordinating each meal service and providing all the necessary items to make their fantastic dinners. A special thank you to all the volunteers who give their time to come to our facility and cook for the families of FESCO. We are looking forward to continuing our partnership and expanding their services in our program. On behalf of FESCO and the families that we serve, a huge thank you to everyone involved. Your commitment to helping us is greatly appreciated.

Community Seva Volunteers have made an enormous impact on HomeFirst and the people we serve.  Every month since their inception, CS Volunteers have served 3 well balanced healthy meals a month.  They tirelessly plan and execute the menus with love and our clients enjoyment in mind.  They also have supported us and our clients through donation drives to ensure that all who need it will have a warm blanket even if they are in the cold.  Community Seva Volunteers are a gift to us and our community.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart Community Seva!

Community Seva is an outstanding local organization! Thanks to our partnership, we are able to serve warm and delicious meals to the homeless clients in the local community. Working together with Community Seva, we are breaking the cycle of poverty.

The members of SEVA are a great group to work with thank you for  your kindness toward everyone at Sunrise Village shelter,
and always providing the residents with a  a wonderful meal every month.
Thank you for the beautiful blankets, we will be giving them to the residents during the Holiday

Community Seva was the first non-profit organization I started volunteering 7 years back but took a break during Covid, but now I am trying to put in more hours prepping meals for the shelters. I didn’t understand the impact of community seva until I attended their gala for 10th anniversary, 3000+ volunteers and 50 members in core team, I am glad to have found this place which works directly with displaced people serving basic necessities like food , shoes and shower/laundry and more. The commitment and dedication of Nathan, Shriya, Priya, Kavith, Praveen, Bharath, Saras, Chithra, Uma and many more that I have seen in person are infectious. Bay Area is a better place because of CS and their team.

Mission Accomplished Indeed! What a great evening being with a group of wonderful, caring, giving and big hearted people with Community Seva lead by Nathan Ganeshan. We carved hams, cubed potatoes, cut vegetable, sliced pies and served the South Bay homeless veterans and community with a big smile while sharing laughters with new friends. We overcome challenges of frozen hams and managed to pull the dinners together. The applause and thank you’s we received from the people we served were heartwarming. Community Seva is truly a well run non-profit organization which gives 100% to the community. We are proud to be a part of their mission and be associated with this amazing group of volunteers.

In this busy crazy life, doing a seva through Community Seva, helps me feel grounded and makes me realize often how much we have. It is the best way to detoxify my mind!

Nathan Ganeshan sir, they say annadaata sukhi bhava – your entire team is so blessed to be able to make and serve food every week with so much love /. Just the plating itself is so carefully put together – it’s heartening to see that there are folks like you and your wonderful community SEVA team in the world who make it truly a better place to live in ! Keep up the good work

What makes Community Seva unique is the dedication and sincerity of each of the volunteer here. Very inspirational to see each one so whole heartedly spend hours on shopping, cooking, cleaning, preparing care bags and brown bags for the homeless. The thumping on those desks after every meal at the shelters is a huge testimonial to all that we do and I am grateful to be part of this wonderful organization.

I am a Youth Volunteer at Community Seva,  at the age of 11, I get to participate to cook dinner, prepare brown bags and care bags for my birthdays. I think Community Seva help kids at a younger age to do good thing for the homeless.

Hats off to Nathan and his team. I am sure they will go on to making a big impact in the bay area, and hopefully will inspire people elsewhere to get us to a world where we don’t have homeless and hungry people. -That may sound like a pipe dream, but it’s better to dream and do something to get there rather than settle with status quo. My best wishes to Community Seva

The most amazing part of Community Seva is the volunteers! They wake up week after week to cook breakfast at 5am with enthusiasm, compassion and the willingness to help. The people are what make Community Seva great.

My dad turned 75 on Sep 17th 2016. He lives in India, far away from us and we thought a great way to commemorate his 75th would be to sponsor a breakfast on his birthday. I really enjoyed volunteering with the team as everyone was so much fun and hardworking at the same time. They knew I had a back problem and couldn‘t do the heavy stuff so they were nice enough to give me the easiest task. The best part was my dad’s reaction when he heard what we were doing. He said it was the best gift we could have ever given him and that made me super thrilled! Thanks for the opportunity, Community Seva.
