Out of the nearly 10,000 homeless population in Santa Clara County, about 36% are women. Other than the already difficult task these women face being without shelter, they also have to cope with the difficulties of maintaining good hygiene. Menstruation products are expensive and they often end up using alternate products such as toilet paper or cloth risking infection.
Community Seva Inc. seeks to address this problem wit our “FEMALE CARE KIT SEVA”. The Female Care Kit contains good quality sanitary napkins, tampons, wipes and other hygiene care items. In addition to the material items, the kit includes thoughtful messages of support to lift up the recipient!
