Community Seva launched “Mobile Shower & Laundry” Services to serve the homeless in San Jose this morning.

In partnership with Lifted Spirits / First Presbyterian Church of San Jose and Dignity on Wheels, Community Seva provided shower and laundry facilities to 30+ homeless individuals in downtown San Jose. We also served them with a delicious breakfast (Scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage links, baked potatoes, juice and milk) and distributed backpacks with winter gear.

This is a dream come true. Our team has been working tirelessly over the last 13 months and today we achieved another milestone in this selfless Journey.

This is our pilot run and we will be providing this service at various other locations soon and hope to make this a weekly ” Mobile Shower Seva”!!
