Volunteer Spotlight – Mankamal

mankamalMankamal has been associated with Community Seva  for the past year and half. A friend introduced Mankamal to the organization when she was looking for opportunities to help the needy.

“The time I’ve spent at shelters has been the best time. When you get to cook and serve people, you get a feeling of instant gratification. It’s wonderful to see the time and money spent going directly to the people who are in need. The feeling I get when I’ve served someone a full plate of food is indescribable. The feeling of love and satisfaction – it’s very rewarding”, says Mankamal. Mankamal’s personal ideology is that one should always give back whether it be through time, money or deeds and if she can see its direct impact and utility, that’s where she wants to go help out.

Mankamal is now one of our Core volunteers and has put in several hours of volunteering and has also sponsored many SEVAs.

Thank you Mankamal for all your time and effort.
